AiEYE X-ray is a deep learning based AI solution that detects registered items of interest in real time, quickly and accurately.
Applied to the X-ray machines that control access to secure facilities, it detects items prohibited from entry or removal - removable media, laptops, mobile phones, hazardous materials and the like.
-

AI-Based X-ray Image Analysis
It connects to the X-ray machines you already own and analyzes their output in real time. Anything registered in advance as prohibited - laptops, removable media, hazardous materials and so on - is detected automatically, quickly and accurately.
-

Intuitive User Interface
Screening staff are given an analysis view that is easy to work with. Prohibited items are boxed directly on the live image, so what has been found is clear at a glance. Convenience features are built in as well, including a peak-hour mode that accounts for congestion at the start and end of the working day.
-

All-in-One Package, Ready to Deploy
The all-in-one solution installs onto the X-ray machines you already have, which keeps deployment simple. No additional hardware is needed: add the solution and it is ready to use on site.
-

Integrated Surveillance System
This is an integrated management and oversight solution. You can watch the live X-ray analysis screens for every entrance at once, and all X-ray footage is stored together as history, so images of anything that passed through can be looked up later.
AiEYE X-ray is a deep learning based AI solution that analyzes live imagery and identifies the prohibited items you have configured, quickly and accurately. With a straightforward user interface and central monitoring, it brings access control a step closer to full automation.
-

Dual Screening System
To prevent the bottlenecks that arise when the server connection or a device fails, analysis runs on the server and on the on-site workstation at the same time, which maximizes stability. Should either side fail, the dual analysis system keeps screening running with no downtime.

Screening Accuracy Averaging Over 90%
High-performance AI, image pre-processing and data whitening together deliver that accuracy. Training on hundreds of thousands of records from live airport operations has minimized false detections and raised accuracy further.
-

-
Integrated Security Surveillance
AiEYE X-ray lets you observe live screening across several entrances from a single place. Entrances can therefore be monitored remotely, so security staff respond only when something actually happens - which raises the efficiency of the whole operation.
-

-
Unified History Search
X-ray images are stored together, sorted by entrance and by time, so any image can be retrieved. The record of what was found, together with monthly statistics, gives you data to draw on when setting policy to strengthen security.

- Accuracy
AI quickly identifies the prohibited items you have configured, helping screening staff judge accurately whether a bag needs to be opened and searched. Because AI takes on a supporting role, it eases the physical and mental fatigue that comes with a demanding workload, reducing the chance of a missed call and improving detection accuracy. Accuracy is more than 30% higher than the average of the initial trained model, and it continues to improve as training goes on.

- Speed
AiEYE X-ray reads a single captured X-ray image in about 0.7 seconds - three to seven times faster than a person. It narrows the gap in judgment speed between experienced screeners and new recruits, so passengers are served quickly either way. The accumulated training data can also be used in the induction of new staff, helping them reach proficiency sooner. Closing the gap in expertise between screeners makes the service consistent.

- Security
Airports around the world are actively adopting smart airport programs, applying IT to optimize their operations in order to shorten departure formalities and reduce the cost of expanding facilities. Smart security screening is the starting point of that industry, and IT is being applied to global screening processes on a steadily widening scale. As the untact era arrives, combining AI with security screening is no longer optional but essential, and AiEYE X-ray strengthens your competitiveness as smart security screening.
AiEYE X-ray in use at the security screening checkpoints of Incheon International Airport. Incheon is one of the world's top four airports and the first ever to receive the highest grade in the Airports Council International (ACI) customer experience accreditation. As part of its goal of becoming a smart airport, it has been using AiEYE X-ray since June 2020. AiEYE X-ray identifies every designated item automatically and shows the result on the monitor. Screening staff use that reading to search accurately and quickly. Incheon International Airport is focused on improving the productivity of its screening staff so that it can deliver safer airport security.
